PEERS® Social Skills Training Group (Secondary School)
PEERS® (The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) provides evidence-based social skills treatment to adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems. Students will engage in role-playing activities to practise communication and social skills.
ToM Social Skills Training Group (Primary/ Secondary School)
Theory of Mind (ToM) is the ability to understand the mental states of other people. It includes decoding beliefs, desires, intentions, emotions and thoughts of an individual. People with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, and other socio-emotional problems show deficits in understanding people's mind and affect everyday human social interactions. The programme aims at strengthening a person's ability to analyse, judge, and infer others' behaviours through contextualised stories and activities.
Accelerate Reading Abilities (ARA) is designed to help children with Dyslexia. The course focuses on delivering strategies based on the specific characteristics of the Chinese writing system. Students practise the rules through engaging activities.
